ABOUT ME

I am a UK trained GP, a professional Coach, a wife and mother to three beautiful children.

Having trained as a General Practictioner in Winchester, UK, I waited for the right point in the my career to take a break from General Practice and follow my husband’s career abroad, firstly to Kuwait and then Oman where I supported my husband’s career.

 

This career break offered me the chance to solely focus on raising my young family (having left the UK with one child, I now have three!) without the pressures of work.

Having never lived abroad before, this was such an exciting opportunity to experience another life, other cultures and focus on lots of different aspects of life and have the time to develop other interests and hobbies.

​

Always on the hunt for a portfolio career, I started a tabletop jewellery business “Mahaba Designs”, after 2 years, I realised that I loved starting a business but wasn’t interested in the day to day running of it.

​

I also have held various voluntary roles and have got very involved with the local community in Muscat. Once again on the hunt for that perfect flexible, dual career and struggling with the loss of identity that comes with being a supporting partner and just someone’s “Mum”, I completed a coach/mentor certificate with The OCM, London.

​

Through this and since, I have coached women of all ages both local (UK and Omani) and expatriate in a various areas from returning to work or career changes to spousal and parent/child relationships, and expatriate relocations.

​

I am currently based between in the UK having successfully repatriated at the end of 2020, I will now be able to achieve my ultimate career goal of returning to UK general practice part time and coaching part time.
